Cannon received "Atlanta’s Best DJ" from the prominent TV program Good Day Atlanta on the channel Fox 5. Shortly after, Cannon founded a full-service production and promotion company, Cannon Music, LLC, to house his growing brand (DC) as a DJ and producer. In 2009, he produced the theme for "Meet The Paynes", Tyler Perry's sitcom series.
