Cannon received "Atlanta’s Best DJ" from the prominent TV program Good Day Atlanta on the channel Fox 5. Shortly after, Cannon founded a full-service production and promotion company, Cannon Music, LLC, to house his growing brand (DC) as a DJ and producer. In 2009, he produced the theme for "Meet The Paynes", Tyler Perry's sitcom series. He also produced Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Thrashers season theme songs and placed Young Jeezy’s "Circulate" for the national Belvedere Vodka campaign.
