Dobieszczyn [dɔˈbjɛʂt͡ʂɨn] (formerly German Entepöl) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border. It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) north-west of Police and 27 km (17 mi) north-west of the regional capital Szczecin.

History

Dobieszczyn, known as Entepöl to its residents while part of Germany from 1815–1945, became part of Poland after the end of World War II and changed its name to the Polish Dobieszczyn.
