Richard "Dick" Enthoven is a South African billionaire businessman, the owner of the Nando's fast food chain, the Hollard Group of insurance companies, and Spier Wine Farm.

Early life

Richard Enthoven is the son of Patrick Enthoven, and the grandson of Robert Enthoven, a Dutch entrepreneur who "amassed an insurance fortune", with his company Robert Enthoven Insurance Brokers.

He has a BA degree from the University of Southern California, and an MSc degree from the London School of Economics.
Career
Enthoven started his career working for American International Group as regional underwriting assistant for South America. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as project manager for United Financial Casualty Company and then for IVM Holdings, Inc. In 1999, he moved to Sydney and established Hollard Insurance in Australia.
Enthoven owns Nando's fast food chain, Spier Wine Farm and the Hollard Group of insurance companies.
As of March 2015, Bloomberg estimated his net worth at US$1.1 billion.
Personal life
He has three children. Robby Enthoven heads the UK operation of Nando’s. Adrian Enthoven was educated at Oxford University and is now chairman of Hollard Group. Mariota Enthoven is married to Angus McIntosh and they run the Spier Biodynamic Farm.
He has a collection of 5,000 South African artworks, which are displayed in Nando's branches.
