Biography

Diana was born in Accra to Francis Arhin and Hannah Amoo, the last born of seven children. She attended Winneba Secondary School and studied Theatre Art at University of Ghana and also attended a Needs assessment class at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She holds an Advanced International Certificate Course of IP Panorama Multimedia Contents of the Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO) World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the Korean Invention Promotion association (KIPA). Diana participated in the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development (CLDP) IP Programs in Africa. A graduate of the Christian Leaders Institute as well as Youth with a Mission (YWAM)’s College of Arts and Spots of the University of the Nations (UofN), Kona-Hawaii, USA and the University of Education Winneba (UEW) in Guidance and Counseling.

Mrs. Diana Hopeson is a Missionary, Recording and Performing Artiste with nine (9) albums. She has traveled extensively as a Minstrel and an Itinerant Minister of Music and a Conference Speaker. As a Lausanne ARTs Catalyst at Large, her Mission is to help enlighten church leaders to embrace Artistic Christians for ministries in the church and world mission. she is the CEO of GHMusic Publishing and Management. She is a Board Member of the Ghana Music Rights Owners Society of Ghana (GHAMRO) and has been instrumental in making policies for the creative industry especially Music and have served on other National Boards and Committees including the National Theatre, Copyright Owners Society of Ghana (COSGA) which is now GHAMRO, The Vodafone Ghana music Awards (VGMA) and the National Intellectual Property Policy Committee. She is the Deputy Director of the Center for Peace and Reconciliation (CPR), a guest Minister at the Fountain Gate Chapel, Accra and a Patron for the University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) Ghana.

Diana won the best gospel music award from Entertainment Critics and Reviewers Association of Ghana (ECRAG) in 1993, she also won the Best Personality and Best Female Artiste in 1997 and 1998 respectively by the King David's Awards in Ghana.
