Desta Global operates two online properties- Desta Mart & Desta Talk.
Desta Mart
Desta Mart is an online B2B E-Commerce portal for agricultural products. It links agricultural input manufacturers and suppliers with agri-store owners in rural India. It receives the orders from the dealers and place them with companies which handle the delivery. Desta Mart provides agricultural inputs such as organic manures, field crop and vegetable seeds, plant nutrients, plant growth regulator, animal husbandry products and solar lamps.
Desta Talk
Desta Talk is an online portal providing farmers information on agriculture and agribusiness for free.
Activities
The company also hosted a “Desta Career Stall” to recruit local talents and train them for better job opportunities. It also tied-up with local agriculture university, to provide information on the available education and career opportunities to the farmer’s children.
Awards
Desta Global’s agricultural information website Desta Talk won "Special Mention Award" at Social Media for Awareness Summit- 2016 organized by Digital Empowerment Foundation.
