Delta Galil Industries (Hebrew: דלתא גליל תעשיות‎‎) is an Israeli textile firm headquartered in Tel Aviv with plants around the world. The owner is Israel Prize laureate Dov Lautman. Delta Galil Industries had an annual turnover of over $1,079 million (in 2015).

Overview

Delta Galil Industries is a manufacturer and marketer of private label apparel products for men, women and children. The company was established in 1975. It produces men and women's underwear, bras, socks, baby clothing, leisurewear, nightwear; knitted fabrics, elastic ribbons and trimmings.

Clients include, among other, Marks & Spencer, Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, J. C. Penney, Calvin Klein, Nike, Hugo Boss and Pierre Cardin. Delta Galil also sells its products under brand names such as Wilson, Maidenform, Nicole Miller, Barbie, Adidas, Puma SE, Nike, Inc., Spalding, Reebok, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Delta Galil employs some 10,000 people worldwide. In the company's first Global Corporate Responsibility report, it set goals for cutting the amount of water, energy and waste consumed by its factories around the world. It plans to base 10% of its production on eco-friendly materials by 2012, up from 7.2% today. The company has also committed to 10% reduction in water use, 5% reduction in energy consumption, and 5% growth in recycling rates by 2015. The company's Ecolife brand is a result of R&D to produce apparel that uses less energy in washing and drying. The garments can be washed in cold water and last longer.

Delta Galil, has operations in Egypt, Bulgaria, Thailand, United States, United Kingdom, Jordan, Pakistan, China and India. It also employs sub-contractors in China, Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Vietnam.
