Early life

Deepali Noor was born to mother Madhu Dhawan who was a teacher in Delhi and father who was a mechanical engineer. Deepali did her schooling at St. Anthony school. After that, she went to Sophia College, Mumbai. She went on to do further education in Hotel management at Institute of Hotel Management at Mumbai.she was married to sayadat noor and has a daughter called natasha noor studying at greenwood high.

Career

Initially Deepali did not have any plans of entering the film industry. She stumbled upon the industry when a director friend requested her to stylise and design costumes for his television commercial. She started enjoying her field of work when she did her next project. Her second project was television commercial for Rexona deo. She had so much fun working on the project that she decided to pursue fashion design as a profession. Her keen fashion aesthetic sense and exploring nature led her to various projects. She went on to design costumes for various commercials and movies. She did many projects with kollywood stars in their movies and commercials. Deepali has worked in more than 30 major movies and has done 150 odd commercials. She has worked with the likes of Suriya , Vijay , Arya, Anushka Shetty, Trisha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Allu Arjun, Vikram, She has also worked with bollywood actors Amy Jackson, Asin, Vidyut Jamwal Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ileana D'Cruz, Shriya Saran and Hansika Motwani among others. Deepali has also worked on commercials for multinational brands like Coca Cola, Quickr, The Times Of India, Reliance etc.she is married to sayadat noor and has a daughter called natasha noor who is studying at greenwood high.

Achievements

Deepali has won several awards for her work. She has won the Vijay Award for Best Costume Designer for her work in the film Madrasapattinam in 2012. She was also nominated in the same award for her work in Nanban (film) in 2010. She has also won the Ananda Vikatan award in the year 2012. Deepali has also won the Norway Tamil Film Festival Awards for Best Costume Design in the year 2011 for her work in Madrasapattinam.
