Earlier Years
Born March 17, 1991 to Joann Easter and Jenerio Ross, Ross grew up with nine siblings amidst the challenges of South Los Angeles. Football was Dayvon's outlet from neighborhood problems of drugs and gangs. While attending Manual Arts High School in his senior year he accumulated 935 receiving yards, averaging 14.0 yards per catch from 67 receptions, 93.5 receiving yards per game, with seven receiving touchdowns and eight total touchdowns.
After completing high school, in 2010 Dayvon became a father.
College Years
Dayvon Ross experienced both sides of college. Originally a commitment of Rick Neuheisel's UCLA Bruins, Ross fell through the cracks, victimized by the NCAA system that favors the schools rather than the players. Ross doesn't blame the NCAA, though. Instead,he landed on his feet at Central State and looks at what's happened to him since high school as a learning experience that's made him a stronger person. As a transfer student Ross attended Central State University where he had 9 touchdowns, 64 receptions, 928 yard. He received the Unanimous All-American, Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-GLVC and Ohio Sports Net Offensive Player of the Year.
NFL
In 2014, Dayvon was signed to the practice squad with the Seattle Seahawks until his injury. In 2015, the Washington Redskins waived Ross and now waiting playing time.
