Daymak Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer, developer of light electric vehicles (LEV). It was started in 2001 by Aldo Baiocchi who now is the Chief Technology Officer,. The company is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In 2001, Aldo Baiocchi had a simple goal of trying to purchase a kids electric scooter for his daughter, Daniela for her birthday. Finding it incredibly difficult to order electric scooters from the United States due to customs he thought this would be a great marketable product and decided he was going import them himself. The company’s name was a combination of Aldo’s daughter name, and his wife’s name Yeganeh and his other daughter Melissa (D-A-Y-M) and from that Daymak was born.

Shadow ebike

Daymak’s developed the Shadow Ebike in 2011 the world's first wireless power-assist electric bicycle." Through the integration of ISM 2.4 GHz wireless using frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology to prevent interference, the Shadow has no brake or gear cables, and no visible electric wires running from the motor to the batteries, the controller or throttle. Turning the electric motor on or off, the magnetic regenerative brakes, the throttle and the pedal assist are all controlled wirelessly via the Daymak Drive controller.

Daymak Beast

Daymak launched successfully the Daymak Beast on Kickstarter. The Daymak Beast is an electric all-terrain scooter that has a solar panel battery pack that trickle charges as it sits outside in the sun. The Daymak Beast was successfully funded on July 30, 2014, raising $136,378 CAD. Since then the Beast has come out with an off-road model the Beast D, which has dual 500W motors.

Daymak Photon

The Daymak Photon is an electric kick scooter with a solar panel deck that charges while it is in the sun. It also comes with a stereo system that operates wirelessly through Bluetooth to your cell phone.

Daymak Chameleon

The Daymak Chameleon is a turbo charged electric scooter that comes with LED lighting strips. The chameleon is uses an app called “Daymak Drive App” which enables the user to increase speed, acceleration, battery usage and more.

Daymak EC1

The Daymak EC1 is a carbon fiber electric bicycle that weighs only less than 35 lbs. This ebike can easily be converted into a regular bicycle if need be. The EC1 campaign was launched on November 3 with a goal of $65,000 USD to successfully fund it.
