David Blamires is a Canadian vocalist and composer. He was born in Bradford, England, but moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is one of Canada's most versatile and sought after session musicians. He has worked with Anne Murray, Triumph, Manteca, and Pat Metheny.

Blamires is best known for his work with the Pat Metheny Group from 1986–1997, during which he won several Grammy awards. In addition to singing on several of the Group's albums, Blamires played guitar, trumpet, violin, mellophone, recorder, marimba, and accordion.
In 1992 he released a solo album, The David Blamires Group.
