Biography

Starting his photographic career as an assistant to the famed fashion photographer Helmut Newton, Berger went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in 2001. Creating a unique body of work that operates between abstraction and conceptualism, Berger's work is conceptually driven and process based - making the viewer question the possibilities of photography and its relationship to time and movement. His work has been collected by institutions such as the Haggerty Museum of Art, Milwaukee, USA; The Max Mara Collection, New York, USA; and the Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle, USA.
