DJ Aqeel lives in Mumbai with his wife Farah Khan Ali, who is the daughter of actor Sanjay Khan, and is the sister of the Bollywood actor Zayed Khan. The couple has one son and one daughter, Azaan born on 7 May 2002 and Fizaa born on 2 April 2005. He owned Hype Nightclub in Atria Mall in Worli, Mumbai, also in Delhi’s Hotel Shangrila and in Ludhiana known as Urban Hara(Hype)
