The larvae feed on Myosotis palustris, Myosotis sylvatica, Pulmonaria mollissima, Pulmonaria obscura, Pulmonaria officinalis, Symphytum officinale and Symphytum tuberosum. They create a slender, dark brown, tubular, composite leaf case. The frontal part is somewhat hairy, while the rest of the case is bare. The mouth angle is about 45°.
