Cochlostoma is a genus of land snails with an operculum, terrestrial gastropod mollusks in the family Cochlostomatidae.

Mantle caves work as pulmones. The operculum is horny. The shell has several whorls. The penis is above right feeler. Sexual dimorphism is often recognisable at the shell.

All species are confined to limestone habitats. They feed on dead plants and microflora. Female lays big eggs, offspring hatches after three to six weeks.
