Clarksville High School is a public high school located in Clarksville in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The Oringinal building was built in 1906 but the School moved to the Current building in 1964. The attendance is 1,432 as of the 2015-16 school year. It's mascot is Willy the Wildcat. The School colors are Purple and Gold, even though the sports teams prefer the stylish, Purple and Black. Athletics are part of the TSSAA. The School meets expectations for the Standardized Tests and ACT's.

Athletics
Clarksville High has had multiple championship winning teams. Girls sports have won multiple State Championships. Girls Soccer won the state title in 2014 and 2016 with a 2nd Place trophy in 2015. Girls golf won the state title in 2016. Softball has made multiple appearances in the state tournament but have fallen short of making the final round in 2013-2015. The best basketball player ever to play at CHS was Bashaara Graves. Graves graduated in 2012 and played for Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee. She was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx in 2016. The Football coach is Issac Shelby. The last appearance in the playoffs was in 2011, but lost to Beech High School in the 1st Round. The baseball team suffered a tremendous tragedy in 2016. Former CHS baseball player, Donny Everett was killed in a lake accident. He was playing for the Vanderbilt University Baseball team at the time and was expected to be drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers. Basketball player Trenton Hassell played at CHS as well as Shawn Marion. NFL player Harry Galbreath played football at CHS.
