History

The Jersey City Eagles Football Club (or JC Eagles) were founded in 2012 to compete in the National Premier Soccer League, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, roughly equal to the USL Premier Development League. Following a successful first season, finishing in third place in the Northeast Division – Keystone Conference and just missing the playoffs, the club would reach an agreement with Clarkstown Soccer Club to relocate the team to play out of Clarkstown High School South and change the club's name to Clarkstown SC Eagles, serving as the top team at the pyramid for the youth soccer organization.

The club has been coached since its inception by former Manchester United youth player, Kevin Grogan.
