Chow Kon Yeow (simplified Chinese: 曹观友; traditional Chinese: 曹觀友; pinyin: Cáo Guān Yǒu; born 14 November 1958) is a Malaysian politician. He is a member of the Penang State Executive Council as the Chairman for the Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee. He is also the State Assemblyman for Padang Kota in the Penang State Legislative Assembly. Previously, he had served as the Member of Parliament for Tanjong in George Town, Penang between 1999 and 2013.

Chow is also incumbent national Vice Chairman and Penang State Chairman of Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

Personal life

Chow was born on 14 November 1958 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor in Social Sciences (Hons) degree from University of Science Malaysia (USM). Before entering politics, Chow was a journalist by profession.
Chow married Tan Lean Kee and the couple has two sons.
