Chiharu Nakai (中居ちはる, 中居千春, 仲居ちはる, Nakai Chiharu) (born August 18, 1984) is a Japanese AV actress and glamour model.

Pre-AV Debut
Nakai was born on August 18, 1984 in Japan. Her exact birthplace is not public knowledge though, but it has been stated that she was from Tokyo on the brief profile page for her on the official website of "Bambi Promotion", one of the major Japanese AV actress agencies in Tokyo. Before venturing into the AV industry, she used to work in several white-collar firms as a contingent worker in Tokyo until around her mid-twenties.
One day in the winter 2009, she came across an AV scout in Shinjuku, Tokyo on her way home from her then job. On a subsequent day, she was taken to the agency's office by the scout and introduced to the chairman of the agency. Having had an interview with him, she made up her mind to go for it, after deliberation.
According to an interview for a Japanese magazine, she used to think about being in the entertainment industry in her childhood and that lead her to go to a juvenile talent audition that she found in a newspaper. After growing up, she had an offer to make a debut in the industry as a female vocalist of a pop rock band. Although she had been making an effort to make that dream come true, the dream was consequently aborted due to dishonesty on the part of self-proclaimed music producer.
Debut as an actress
She made a debut as an AV actress in the spring of 2010. Ranging in roles as innocent teenager and artless schoolgirl to an amorous and voluptuous married woman, she has appeared in numerous videos since her debut. She also has been featured in many catfight and martial art fetish videos as well.
She treasures her mother and her junior brother very much. Her favorite word is "I appreciate you". She is a live music goer, and her hobby is watching movies. She has been nicknamed "Chiitan"(ちーたん), which was a nickname given to her by one of her fellow actresses and friends Kaede Oshiro, with whom she holds an off-line fan meeting periodically.

In 2012, she appeared in a pink film twice as the starring actress (Busty Hairdresser and Rutting Bus Tour Guide).
Cosplayer
Cosplay AV, which involves different sexual conducts from the usual hardcore videos in costumes of characters of anime, manga, and eroge, has become a significant field in her activities. Along with her fellow actresses Kaede Oshiro and Uta Kohaku, she has taken part in Dōjinshi fairs as a kind of professional cosplayer and as booth staff of a Dōjin circle called "Cosplay 1ppon Shōbu". This group of three actresses is unofficially called "Team-dec", named after a director who runs the aforementioned circle.
Retirement
On 1 August 2013, she announced in her blog that she was retiring as an AV actress by the end of that month in order to pursue another career and fulfill her vision.
