Mingma Sherpa (born Mingma Sherpa; June 16, 1978), nicknamed "Mingma",

On May 20, 2011, Mingma Sherpa, the 32-year-old from Nepal, became the first Nepali and the first South Asian to scale all 14 of the world's highest mountains - an outstanding achievement and a milestone in South Asian mountaineering history. In the process, Mingma set new world record – he became the first mountaineer to climb all 14 peaks on first attempt. Mr. Mingma Sherpa & his brother Mr. Chhang Dawa Sherpa has kept world record of "Worlds First Two Brothers" successfully summit 14 Mountains of the world which are above 8000 meter height. This is a single record in the worlds mountaineering history.

Mingma is the managing director of Seven Summit Treks.
