CKSS had 91%, the School Board had 82% and Ontario had 84%. The applied math students had a 51% rate while the School Board had 43% and Ontario 44% respectively.
The musical
The CKSS musical is a major event in the CKSS school year. For over a decade, Bruce Nelson directed the musical. It is now directed by Christine Baribeau.
Extracurricular activities
CKSS also sports an Improvisation team. The team holds tryouts each fall and competes in the annual Canadian Improv Games.
A recent addition to the many clubs offered at CKSS is the Interact Club, a part of Rotary International. They partner with the Chatham Sunrise Rotary club, helping with their many fundraising projects.
Volleyball
CKSS is known for being one of the best volleyball schools in Ontario. The boys have won ten OFSAA championships and the girls have won five. Volleyball is currently coached by the Leidl Brothers at the school, Brian and Tim Leidl. Randy Bartlett and Dale Lahey are former coaches at CKSS.
