Chapssal-tteok (찹쌀떡; "glutinous rice cake") is a tteok (Korean rice cake) made of glutinous rice. Chapssaltteok can be coated with gomul (powdered sesame or beans, used for coating tteok) and steamed, or made round and filled with red bean paste. The latter variety is similar to Japanese mochi.
