Description

The male holotype measures about 24 mm (0.94 in) in snout–vent length and two female paratypes about 26 mm (1.0 in). The snout is rounded in lateral view. Dorsal skin is shagreen with spinules. The hands and feet are moderately webbed.

Habitat and conservation

Its natural habitats are humid upper montane forests at elevations of about 1,780–1,820 m (5,840–5,970 ft) above sea level. It lives on vegetation by streams. Its status is insufficiently known but potential threats include climate change, habitat loss, introduced fish species, pollution from the spraying of illegal crops, and chytridiomycosis.
