Carole Skinner (born 8 May 1944) is an Australian actress who works mainly in the theatre and at times in long-running television soap operas and films.

Theatre and television credits

Carole is best known for playing top dog Nola McKenzie in Prisoner during 1983, and Doris Hudson in Sons and Daughters. Skinner also has made appearances in Neighbours (as Laura Dennison), Home and Away, A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors, The Young Doctors (as Dr. Judith Napier), E Street, HeadLand, McLeod's Daughters and other Australian soaps. She is known for her roles in Ruth Park"s mini-serials The Harp in the South and Poor Man's Orange. Her performance as Olive in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll for the Melbourne Theatre Company in 1977 was also met with high regard.[1], she made a cameo appearance on Minder when they did the Australian episodes.
