Biography

She remains best known for her work in horror films of the 1970s such as The Flesh and Blood Show, Tower of Evil and Satan's Slave. Known for her great femininity and beauty, these films featured large amounts of nudity from her and several sex scenes. She and Kay Lenz were rumoured to have been offered the part of the possessed girl Regan McNeil in the film The Exorcist. Lenz declined because she was too old, as was Glendenning, and she had already signed to director Jim O'Connolly to film Tower of Evil (1972). The part went to Linda Blair instead.
