The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, established in 1992, is a private association under the Chinese law and belongs to the Federation of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad (Union des Chambres de Commerce et d’Industrie Françaises à l’Etranger - UCCIFE). It gathers 1400 members in 2011 and 45 companies at the Board of Sponsors. The CCIFC is represented by a board of 30 people elected for 2 years from French companies in China. 6 permanent commissions have been settled: Communications, Foreign Relations, Finance, Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Strategy. A bi-cultural team of 40 people ensures the promotion of the French companies in China. They are spread between Beijing, national headquarters and the satellite offices.

  • In order to get more efficience, the CCIFC has created 2 departments entirely dedicated to help French and Chinese companies. Thanks to the French Desk, French companies are assisted in their approach of the Chinese market. The Chinese Desk's aim is to guide Chinese companies in their will of implementation or export in France.

    Offices

    CCIFC headquarters are located in Beijing with satellite offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Kunming, Dalian, Tianjin, Shenyang and Xiamen.

    Business Development Department

    This service has been created with the goal to escort French SMEs to approach the Chinese market. It is constantly on strategic standby to adapt the products to the clients, especially in the sustainable development and environment, new high technology, agribusiness, health and luxury. In 2011, 140 SMEs have been escorted.

    SME Award China

    Since 2006, the CCIFC as recognized annually the best French entrepreneur in China and, starting in 2008, the Excellence award.

  • 2006: Sebastien Breteau, CEO of AsiaInspection, received the award from Christine Lagarde, then Minister of Commerce and Industry of French Republic.
