Benchmarks

BulkZip supports compression with numerous algorithms from the 2010+ era. As of mid-2015, BulkZip placed first in 4 independent large-scale benchmarks which were testing multiple speed/results relations, as well as a maximum possible compression ratio.

Formats

By default, BulkZip creates .bulk archives, the program's proprietary format, but also supports compression and extraction of a number of other archive formats. The .bulk file format is based upon LZMA2, PPMd and DEFLATE algorithms.
