  • 1933 – Irwin R. Buchalter started to practice law in Los Angeles.
  • 1948 – Buchalter joined California attorneys Jerry Nemer and Murray Fields to serve the areas in business and finance, and represented them in litigation and insolvency.
  • 1957 – Merged with leading business firm, Gitelson, Cooper, Coyle & Savitch.
  • 1979 – Attorney General of California, Evelle Younger, joined the practice and the Firm became Buchalter Nemer Fields & Younger.
  • 1981 – The Firm expanded and opened an office in San Francisco, CA.
  • 1983 – The Firm expanded into Orange County and opened an office in Irvine, CA.
  • 1991 – 35 attorneys from Rosen Wachtell & Gilbert joined the Firm’s Los Angeles office.
  • 1999 – Buchalter grew and added attorneys from Katz, Hoyt, Siegel & Kapor LLP to its Los Angeles office.
