Bucculatrix polytita is a moth in the Bucculatricidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Ontario and Quebec.

The wingspan is 7-7.5 mm. The base of the forewings is pale buff, followed by a band of fuscous-tipped ocherous or dark fuscous scales. The middle third of the wing is occupied by a broad dark band. The hindwings vary from whitish ocherous in females to dark fuscous in males. Adults have been recorded on wing in July.
