Bruno Capinan is a world-music singer and songwriter residing in the city of Toronto in Canada. Born on October 18, 1984, in the Brazilian city of Salvador-Bahia, which was awarded with the title of ‘Music City’ by UNESCO. Capinan began his music career in 2008, after moving to Toronto.

The dual national artist has two records under his belt, with the most recent being samba-inspired Tudo Está Dido (All Has Been Said) from 2014. This latest record generated widespread positive reviews including a featured article at Brazil’s largest publication ‘O Globo’ and a review by Canada’s Exclaim Magazine. The album was released worldwide by Brazilian label Maravilha8 and in Japan via P-vine Records.
Capinan has collaborated with artists from across the globe, recording in Canada, Brazil, Portugal and Australia. In 2014, he was named the recipient of the TELUS Newcomer Artist Award for his artistic achievements and significant contribution to Canada's music community.
In May 2016, the singer announced he was back in studio with producer Domenico Lancellotti to work on his third LP.
