Brief & Trunks (Japanese ブリーフ&トランクス) were a J-pop comic duo active in 1993–2000. It was created by Takayuki Itou (伊藤多賀之 voice, guitar; born 1976) and Makoto Hosone (細根誠 voice), who were then students of a Shizuoka Prefecture high school. They released 10 singles, 5 albums and 4 videos. The hit Konbini Store was released on November 20, 1999. The duo disbanded on December 31, 2000. Takayuki Itou continued activity in the independent music field. They made a comeback appearance in 2016.
