Brian Wickstrom

Brian Wickstrom, (born July 2, 1969) is the director of athletics for the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. He previously served as athletics director for the University of Louisiana at Monroe and the University of California, Riverside. He graduated with his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from Kansas State University where he was a track and field athlete. He earned a Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University in 1999 and a Doctor of Education/Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University in 2006. Wickstrom left the University of Louisiana at Monroe in June 2017. On August 16, 2017, Wickstrom was named the new athletic director for the University of the Incarnate Word.
