Contents

Brazoswood High School opened in September 1969, to serve Clute, Lake Jackson, and Richwood in the Brazosport Independent School District (BISD). The faculty consists of 182 professional staff members, with an average of seventeen years of teaching experience. Twenty one percent of the teachers have master's degrees. When it was played at the ceremonies in May 1971, the graduating seniors were hearing it for the first time and therefore could not sing their alma mater at graduation.
