Bradley McDougald (born November 15, 1990) is an American football safety for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as undrafted free agent in 2013. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

College career

McDougald originally committed to Ohio State University out of Dublin Scioto High School as a wide receiver, but changed his commitment to the University of Kansas. Following his sophomore year, McDougald switched permanently to safety.
Professional career

McDougald was invited to the 2013 NFL combine but was not drafted.
Kansas City Chiefs

Following the draft, McDougald signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. McDougald was released on September 1, 2013 but was re-signed two days later. He was released again by the Chiefs on September 16, 2013 and was signed to the practice squad. He was promoted back to the active roster October 12, 2013. On November 5, 2013, McDougald was waived by the Chiefs.
2013 season

McDougald was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 7, 2013. He spent the 2013 season primarily on special teams and as the backup to safety Mark Barron.
2014 season
McDougald's playing time increased in 2014 after Mark Barron was traded to the St. Louis Rams. Though not the starter, his time in rotation with veteran safety Major Wright proved productive. He recorded 50 tackles, 7 pass breakups and his first career interception in Week 17 on Saints' quarterback Drew Brees.
2015 season
On March 5, 2015, the Buccaneers re-signed McDougald to a restricted free agent tender, securing his services for the 2015 season. He played in all 16 games with 15 starts, recording 87 tackles, four passes defensed and two interceptions.
2016 season
On April 5, 2016, McDougald signed a one-year extension with the Buccaneers. He started all 16 games for the Buccaneers in 2016, setting career-highs with 91 tackles and 10 passes defensed to go along with two interceptions.
Seattle Seahawks
On March 22, 2017, McDougald signed with the Seattle Seahawks.
