Biography

Roaché was born on May 1, 1989 to a father of Spanish Portuguese descent and an African American mother. Born in Monterey, California he grew up in Washington, DC where he attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts to study Visual Arts. Roaché was active in sports playing basketball, track&field, and semi-pro football where he continued at University of Maryland Eastern Shore as a high jumper and later St. Paul's College towards an undefeated football season. In 2006 he moved to New York City to begin a career in the fashion industry as a model.
Career

Roaché is signed with Major- New York, D1- London, WHY NOT- Milan, SIGHT- Spain, Touché- Amsterdam, HEFFNER- Seattle, and Outlaws- South Africa. Some Campaigns include Brooks Brothers, Strellson, Baldessarini, Mexx, Sean John. He has shot with photographers Nino Muñoz, Antoine Verglas, Nathaniel Goldberg, Bruce Weber along so appeared in editorials for American and German GQ, Hawaii Luxury, Cosmopolitan, Men's Health, Numéro, and Têtu. Notable for work with Lacoste, Neiman Marcus, Levi's, Macy's, and Giorgio Armani.
Personal life
Bobby Roaché was awarded most academic and best personality in his High School yearbook. In 2010 First Lady Michelle Obama was gifted print piece titled "Eyes On Music" a series of Roaché's art tribute for Duke Ellington School of the Arts. He launched his namesake Bobby Roaché retail collection Summer 2014. In his free time, he continues designing, drawing, painting, print making, and sculpting pieces.
