Bill nolan animation
William "Bill" Nolan (June 10, 1894 – December 6, 1954) was an American animated cartoon writer, animator, director, and artist. He is best known for creating and perfecting the rubber hose style of animation and for streamlining Felix the Cat. From 1925 to 1927, he worked on a loose animated adaptation of George Herriman's Krazy Kat for Margaret J. Winkler and from 1929 to 1934, worked as an animator, storyman, and director at the Walter Lantz Studio on the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series. Nolan also worked at MGM on The Captain and the Kids series based on the comic strip, The Katzenjammer Kids.
