Bill Laveroni (born July 20, 1948) is an American football coach. He is currently the offensive line coach for the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League.

Playing career

Laveroni was a three-year starter for University of California, Berkeley at center (1967–69). While at Cal he was a member of Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity.

Coaching career

Laveroni began his coaching career at his alma mater, handling the freshman team in 1970. The following year, he coached the offensive line at the University of San Francisco.

From 1972-76, he was an assistant coach at San Francisco's St. Ignatius High School and then became the head coach at Piedmont High School for one year before rejoining the college ranks.

He returned to Cal in 1978 to coach linebackers and tight ends and worked at Utah State from 1979-82 as the linebackers and offensive line coach. While coaching at Utah State he lived next door to Brodie Cook.

From 1983-89, he worked his second stint at California, coaching the offensive line.

From 1990-94, he worked at San Jose State as the offensive line coach but also had duties with special teams from 1990-92.

He joined the Arena League’s San Jose Sabercats in 1995 where he coached offensive/defensive linemen.

From 1996-2000, he was the offensive line coach at Rutgers University. He added the title of running game coordinator in 1998.
