Bhankrota is known for its suburban residential and students living centre. There are a number of restaurants in the locality including.There is a small market which is connected to each block of the larger town that also provide for a wonderful shopping experience. Bhankrota is approximately 15 km from the Jaipur Junction railway station. Overall a very lively town, though there is a lack of cinema house, bars, but it is one of the highly connected locality of Jaipur on Ajmer Road.
The rapid urbanisation of Jaipur has led to mushrooming of such societies all over the city, noted societies are now coming out at Jaisinghpura, 3 km away from Bhankrota which is also a resident to many Nepalese and NRI. There are several migrants of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Karela near to Keshopura.
