Batman: The Ride

One of the most common Batman themed rides is Batman: The Ride. Batman: The Ride is a steel inverted roller coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. It is located at seven Six Flags theme parks including Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Over Texas. It was formerly located at Six Flags New Orleans before it was relocated to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and rethemed to Goliath.

The Dark Knight Coaster

In 2008, Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Great America unveiled The Dark Knight Coaster, based on the 2008 Batman film. They are enclosed Wild Mouse roller coasters which are heavily themed and give riders a feeling that they are being stalked by the Joker. Six Flags New England was also scheduled to open this ride, but it was relocated due to construction complications. It was relocated to Six Flags México in 2009.

Other rides

Several Six Flags theme parks, formerly owned by Warner Bros., opened live-action "Batman Stunt Shows" as the movies increased in popularity.

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey was home to Batman and Robin: The Chiller. This roller coaster allowed riders to ride on either the Batman or Robin versions of the coaster. During the 2007 off-season, the ride was removed after a long history of technical difficulties.

Six Flags Over Georgia contains a Gotham City area that contains the same Batman: The Ride and also features a looping coaster called The Mind Bender that was adapted to fit the color tone of the Riddler after Batman Forever.

Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California has two Batman-themed coasters, the suspended coaster Batman: The Ride, and The Riddler's Revenge, a stand-up roller coaster. Prior to 2011, the entire area around the Batman Ride also encompassing what was then known as the Atom Smasher and Grinder Gearworks was themed as the Gotham City Backlot in the visual style of the Tim Burton Batman films.

Movie Park Germany

Movie Park Germany in Bottrop, Germany, previously featured a motion simulator ride called Batman Adventure - The Ride. It has since been removed.

Parque Warner Madrid

Parque Warner Madrid in Madrid, Spain, features a duplicate of Batman: The Ride. The ride is known as Batman: La Fuga which translates to Batman: The Escape.

Warner Bros. Movie World

Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Australia, has a vertical space shot ride named Batwing Spaceshot which opened in 2006. It also has a Suspended Looping Coaster called Arkham Asylum – Shock Therapy. It was formerly home to the motion simulator Batman Adventure - The Ride which opened in 1992, was revamped in 2001, before closing in 2011.
