Critical reception
The movie was critical and commercial failure. Shubhra Gupta from The Indian Express gave it 1 stars and writing, "There was a kind of film made in the 50s and 60s which had the leading man visit a hill station only to fall-in-love-at-first-glance with a ‘goriyaa’". The Times of India critic Renuka Vyavahare gave it 1.5 stars and wrote, " barring cinematography and music, other aspects of the film are way too mediocre and cliched for your liking. Sadly it's 2015 and this formulaic drama has nothing new to offer."
