Peace Village

Peace Village, also known as Ahmadiyya Village, is a housing project of 260 homes built on a 50-acre (200,000 m2) parcel of land near Bai'tul Islam Mosque in Maple. All nine streets within the neighbourhood are named after the Khalifa’s names and other prominent Ahmadi scholars. The main street is called Ahmadiyya Avenue, and the community park is named "Ahmadiyya Park". The mosque is visible from all the streets.

The village was planned by Naseer Ahmad, and construction started on April 5, 1999.In March of 2009, there were plans to expand the mosque and build a high school in the surrounding empty fields.

Jamia Ahmadiyya

The Baitul Hamd (43°38′14″N 79°38′13″W), nearby in Mississauga (south-west of Toronto), served until 2010 as the Jamia Ahmadiyya (Missionary Training College) for North America. Jamia Ahmadiyya is now in Tahir Hall, the local community center of Peace Village.
