The Backside Inn is a historic inn on Brook Road in Goshen, New Hampshire. The oldest portion of the two-story structure is a 1-1/2 story plank-framed house that was built in 1835 as a farmhouse. It is one of a significant concentration of plank-framed houses in the area. The building was adapted for use as a hunting lodge in the 1920s, and was enlarged in the 1950s and 1960s. The inn takes its name from its location, which is on the "back side" of the nearby Mount Sunapee resort area.
