Recent Row and Subsequent Strikes
In recent chain of events; Registrar Abdul Rashid Choudhary who has been residing on this post since the existence of the varsity had been accused of various crimes against varsity conduct and students by the police. The students have since demonstrated in the form of protests and blocked varsity roads for about a fortnight. It is not the first time varsity has been the focus of the media. However, the ongoing protests are stronger and the demands include expulsion of VC I.A Hamal and Registrar Rashid.
