Controversies

Azteca Mexico has a variety of programs but can not be a channel dedicated to Hispanics rather Mexicans in the United States, because almost all the productions are of Azteca 13 and Azteca 7. Another reason is that a channel dedicated to all types of Hispanics must have varied programming with:

  • Made in Mexico and the United States
  • Having Productions of other Hispanic countries (there have for example one of its competitors: TeleFutura from the main competitor of Azteca Mexico, which is Univision and Telemundo, but only has 5 original productions 5 are made in the United States allowing the variety of Hispanics in the program, but also broadcasts telenovelas, series and other countries making it a Hispanic channel.
