Arthur Louis Schmidt (born May 1, 1927) was an American politician in the state of Kentucky. He served in the Kentucky Senate and in the Kentucky House of Representatives. He is a Republican.
He pleaded guilty to a 1993 indictment for withholding the fact that he took a $20 cash payment from another senator tied to Operation Boptrot. He was sentenced to probation and fined $2,500.
