Argoed is a small village in the community of Nantmel, Powys, Wales, which is 55 miles (88 km) from Cardiff and 152 miles (244 km) from London.
The Argoed water mill dates back to at least 1840. It stands on Nant Treflyn, a tributary of the River Wye, not far from Doldowlod Hall, Llanwrthwl. The property has recently been converted to a holiday-let cottage.
