Antonio Damirón (1794–1875) was a Venezuelan publisher. Damíron was born in Mâcon, France and established a printing business in Venezuela.

Career

Beginning in 1831, he was the printer for the Gaceta de Venezuela., the Venezuelan official gazette.

He also published the newspaper El Nacional ( 1833–1841 ), and other Venezuelan newspapers, including El Censor, (1836-?) Un Militar Retirado (1833). El Republicano (1834–1835). He also published the Epístolas catilinarias Francisco Javier Yanes hijo (1835), los Fragmentos de Tomás Lander (1835),El Cajón del Sastre (1837) and the legal reforms of Francisco Michelena y Roja

Retirement

In 1843 he sold his business to the German publisher Stapler, and retired to his estates in Miranda.
