In 2005, at the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in Sydney, Amber Renae dressed Olympic swimmer Geoff Huegill in ARX clothing for the runway of her fashion parade in the emerging Australian designer section. The show received national media exposure.

Renae finished ninth, but was widely credited with making the most out of the show, regularly featuring in Arena TV promotions and advertisements for the programme.
