Allan Eshuijs (born 31 May 1976, Zaanstad) is a Dutch songwriter, producer and vocalist. He started his songwriting career writing mainly for Dutch and German artists, including Cascada, Yvonne Catterfeld, Ch!pz and Sandy Mölling, but he now also works with US and international artists such as Madcon, Estelle, Taio Cruz, Lost Frequencies, Fedde Le Grand, Dannii Minogue and Macy Gray. His most successful hits to date are "Evacuate the Dancefloor" by Cascada, which reached #1 in the UK and the Netherlands, and Ch!pz' "1001 Arabian Nights".

Vocalist and music production

Eshuijs began his career as a vocalist after obtaining a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2000. He founded the music production company GEMINI Music and started working as a backing vocalist and keyboardist for a number of successful national and international artists, including Oleta Adams, Jocelyn Brown, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Candy Dulfer and Ruth Jacott.

Songwriter

Eshuijs' first songwriting duties took place in 2003 for Dutch singer Hind. In 2004 he signed to Universal Music Publishing, where he spent five years as a songwriter. During that time he wrote hits for several Dutch acts including Do and Ch!pz, for whom "1001 Arabian Nights" reached #1 in the Netherlands as well as reaching the Top 5 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Entrepreneur

In 2009 Allan founded his own independent publishing and production company, SongKitchen. In 2015 Allan teamed up with long-time friends and fellow songwriters Chris Willis, Chad Wolf, Curtis Richa, Gary Pine, Jimmy Burney and Do and founded the songwriting collective vocal.kitchen where they create original vocals for DJs such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand, Lost Frequencies, and more.
