The Algorithmic Traders Association was founded in 2009 by Doron Whitman. Since then, the group grew in size and scope to over 130,000 members worldwide.
Membership
The Algorithmic Traders Association is made up of members from different pofessions. Among its members are researchers, authors, traders and portfolio managers. They exchange information freely and educate each other.
Product
The main product of the Algorithmic Traders Association is education through their Certified Algorithmic Trader educational program. They host educational events and also publish relevant news on new industry breakthrough research, tools and events to members through their social networks. The Algorithmic Trader Association offers the only official educational course for CAT® Certification.
Partnership
In 2015, The Algorithmic Traders Association announced its partnership with BattleFin Group, LLC. Other partners include ED&F Man Capital Markets, TotalTrading and MetaStock.
