Alex Feldman, also known as Alexander Daas, is an American eyewear designer, stylist and optician.
Feldman, former CEO of San Francisco Optics, received his degree in Biopsychology from University of California, Santa Barbara, with an emphasis in Vision Science studies. He is registered with the Medical Board of California and Certified by the Indiana University School of Optometry, OPAT, and the American Board of Opticianry.
He is the Founder and CEO of Daas Luxury Optics, a distributor of independent luxury eyewear including Alexander Daas Eyewear in North America and abroad, and Italian eyewear TAVAT in the United States, to optical boutiques. He is founder and designer of Alexander Daas eyewear, which initially launched in San Francisco, now headquartered in San Diego, specializing, though not limited to, small PD (pupillary distance) eyewear for narrower faces.
Alexander Daas eyewear has been worn by celebrities including Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Michael Keaton, Sammy Hagar, Forest Whitaker, Malcolm McDowell, and Jenny McCarthy.
Feldman is also the Founder and CEO of City of Eyes by Alexander Daas, opticals located in Los Angeles featuring a curation of top luxury eyewear including Alexander Daas, Mykita, Bevel, Barton Perreira and Matsuda. Located in downtown San Diego, the Alexander Daas Eyewear Showroom is headquarters to Alexander Daas's distribution and design studio, with a retail store front.
